Christians from across the nation will be converging in Ashland, Kentucky, this Friday and Saturday to join with Kim Davis as she boldly represents the heart of her Lord, the Kentucky State Constitution and the Constitution of the United States of America. This Press Conference event will take place at the Carter County Detention Center, 13 Crossbar Rd in Grayson, KY on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:30 A.M.
Though in jail, she is God’s free woman. A political prisoner in the land of the free and the home of the brave – she won’t be the last. She is the Supreme Court’s first political prisoner. In a nation that once embraced and defended freedom of religion, she is now persecuted for expressing hers.
Yesterday, Kim Davis was led from the courtroom, turned over to Federal Marshals by Federal Circuit Court Judge David Bunning, to remain incarcerated until she repents of her Christian responsibility to uphold the Law of her God, the laws of her state, and the laws of our United States Constitution.
Davis is not guilty of violating the Constitution of Kentucky which states in section 233a: “Only a marriage between one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in Kentucky. A legal status identical or substantially similar to that of marriage for unmarried individuals shall not be valid or recognized.” She is not in violation of the US Constitution for the first Amendment states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” Neither is she in violation of God’s Law which states in Genesis 2:24: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”
She is guilty, and being held indefinitely in a jail, for upholding the laws of our land. She is a law keeper. It is this court that is in contempt of the constitutions of both Kentucky and the US. Judge Bunning stated that he thought that fines alone would not force Mrs. Davis to comply with his demands. This is a landmark case of judicial tyranny.
